Needlework

The needlework that is offered here is cross stitch. The art of cross stitch has been around for century. It was used to decorate home decor items and to make samplers that were hung on walls for decoration. It was also used on clothing for decoration and repair. The designs that are shown here are all from the mind of the artist Pennie Espiritu. She gets here inspration from the world and people around her. She has always loved to work with colors since she was small. When others were playing with dolls she was makeing cloths for those dolls or creating pictures from thread.

Bead work

The bead work that is handcrafted and presented here is made from Japanese seed beads and Czech seed beads. There are also handcrafted polymer clay beads and pendants. The Japanese seed beads are know for their uniform size and color. They are the best beads to use when working with peyote stitch or loomed items. The rochilla Czech beads transparent and shine make the ornaments shine. The use of these same beads bring alive the necklaces and bracelets that will be appearing on this site soon. The patterns for the items made in beads will also be available on the down loadable patterns page.

The Lespirit Design company will be offering custom design work for those who are looking for this serves. The service will be offered for cross stitch, jewelry and polymer clay items.
